After smoking a cigarette more than 5000 meters next to EverestOn many occasions, visiting some remote place in the world, I have stopped to enjoy a spectacular landscape, observing my surroundings, reflecting. For all smokers, those special moments are accompanied by the inevitable cigarette. It is a moment of relaxation, an uncontrollable feeling of stopping time and dedicating ourselves a tribute in intimacy. Relaxed, you accompany the moment with the agile movement of your fingers to tie a cigarette and turn it on while you return to put your eyes on the world around you. I think there is no cigarette more addictive than in contemplative travel moments like this one that I tell you.
Well, curiosities of life, I have been invited to a One-week trip to Senegal to know how the rolling paper of Smoking Deluxe 2.0 is produced So many times I've used in similar situations. The so photographed acacia tree, from which natural gum is extracted, defines much of the nature of the country further west of the African continent. And I see myself enjoying new contemplative moments in front of the desert dunes where so many Dakar pilots have crossed.

We will precisely begin the trip on Lake Retba, also known as the pink lake, famous for being the last stage of the classic Paris-Dakar rally. In this magical place the dunes extend from the lake to kiss the waters of the Atlantic.
During the tour of Senegal we will also visit the Portudal station, a microsystem full of a variety of trees and flora typical of Sahelian nature. Villages like Ndangane, on the banks of the Saloum, Saly or Joal river, a small fishing village, will bring us closer to the reality of the country and its people.
Adrenaline, adventures and short sleeves await us during the next few days thanks to the tropical climate of high and humid temperatures that Senegal enjoys almost all year round.
