Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, easily falls in love with its French colonial mix and its Asian rhythm through the streets. We settled in the old town and from the moment you step on the street is mixed by the vital pulse that animates the city tirelessly. Endless streets where each one sells its own article: slippers, fans, medicinal herbs, fish, caps ... even endless things to go shopping and nothing is missing. On the outskirts of the center the colonial city opens with neoclassical buildings with Asian dyes and it is nice to see how the city is surrounded by lakes and parks where to rest from the suffocating heat.

They say that in a few years the city has changed a lot. Those who were walking now go by bicycle, those who went by bicycle now go by motorcycle and those who had a motorcycle now have a car. Total, they are an average of 12 walking, 40 by bike, 2 million by motorcycle and 4 cars.

We went to see a water puppet theater show and it was a joy. We also visited the temple of literature dedicated to Confuncio of the 10th century, the first university in Vietnam and it was like escaping from time and space.
