Giving it all in the Lokerse Feesten de Lokeren.

But well, things have to be demonstrated, so, to the mess!

Brussels It is not just the headquarters of the highest European body where all politicians come to debate in a circle for hours while large banquets and drinks are hit at the expense of the proletariat. No, it is not.

A cold Sunday of December I arrived with 4 friends -Sergi and Jose Ramón among them- from Amsterdam and Ghent at 8 at night. We were surrendered and left things at the hostel for dinner. Despite the tiredness, we didn't want to stop having good Belgian beers on our last night of the trip.

They advised us to go to the mythical Delirium tremens And there we started the party. To be Sunday, there were a decent number of people wanting to march. We met with travelers from other countries and, after realizing 5 or 6 different types of beers each, we ended up going with them to a mixture of karaoke and Irish bar. This is not a myth: an irish never fails. Wherever you are.

The bar was teeming with people who didn't want the night to end. It was 4 in the morning and we were more bent than the corners. At the end we left the bar after 6, with just enough time to take a quick shower, throw everything inside the suitcase and cut off with the rented car heading to Charleroi. We arrived so fair that we could not refill the gas tank and ran to arrive just when they closed the check-in counter. We were only 4 because one of my friends, at that time, was frolicking with a new Irish friend.

And it was a winter Sunday.

If you are more than Thursday than Sunday, you can read the farra that we quique Quique, Sergi and I last November.

In summer Belgium explodes. When, from the Flanders Tourist Office, they sent me the long list of summer festivals of the country, could not give credit to the amount of cities involved, the variety of musical styles and the proximity of all dates. What I didn't know was that it was just a reduced list of options: there were many more festivals in the Belgian summer.

My second weekend concert was in Geel. Reggae music, good vibes and lots of people wanting to party.
